Audio Typing/Digital Audio Transcription
Audio transcription typing costs are charged from 85p per audio minute, depending on the clarity of the recording. (A small charge for time spent proofreading also applies, based on our standard hourly rate, charged in 15 minute increments).
Document Typing - How Does It Work?
For
copy typing services, simply e-mail, upload or post your handwritten or typed notes/documents, and we will convert your materials accordingly.
A sample page may be requested to ascertain project costs/timescales.
For
audio transcription typing, files in a suitable format can be e-mailed or uploaded. To help us estimate the likely costs and
audio typing timescales, we would be happy to preview your recording beforehand.
Typing Timescales / Audio Typing Timescales
As a rough rule of thumb, we can type approximately 2,000 to 4,000 words an hour, depending on the legibility of the source document. 600 to 800 typed words would roughly fill one A4 page (single line spacing).
For
audio typing, it takes a minimum of 1 hour to transcribe 15 audio minutes, and a minimum of 4 hours to transcribe a 1 hour audio recording, all depending on the clarity of the recording/number of voices etc.

TYPING SERVICES - TERMS
All new clients will be asked to sign a simple Registration Form ~ Payment accepted by online money transfer, cheque or PayPal ~ Estimates are offered as a guideline only ~ Expenses such as telephone calls, stationery, postage, printing, couriers, discs etc. are charged separately at cost price ~ Invoices must be settled in full before release of finished typed documents ~ For new clients or large typing projects, full payment or a deposit may be required in advance of work commencing ~ Minimum invoice amount is for 1 hour ~ Payment terms are strictly 14 days
