Absolutely NO use of AI or speech recognition software - all typing is carried out manually by me. My typing service prices are transparent and easy to find on this site. Please read on.

standard/general typing:
£30 per hour for general copy typing (minimum 1-hour charge).
manuscript typing:
from £12-£14 per 1,000 words for typing from printed/typed text.
from £15-£17 per 1,000 words for typing from handwritten text.
from £16 per 1,000 words for typing from part-printed/part-handwritten text.
audio typing:
from £1.50 per recorded audio minute (standard 2-3 working day turnaround).
from £1.95 per recorded audio minute (24-hour working day turnaround).
from £2 per recorded audio minute for 1-1 interview-style audio and manuscript dictation.

professional typist fees just £30 an hour
£30 per hour - no commitments or contracts, just pay as you go. Applies to most general copy typing and word processing tasks. Charged in 15-minute increments, minimum 1-hour charge. See below for manuscript typing fees.

Costs for copy typing from manuscripts, books, multi-page documents, etc. range from £12 to £14 per thousand words for copying from printed/typed text, from £15 to £17 per thousand words for copying from handwritten text, depending on legibility of handwriting, subject matter, use of dialect, quality of source materials, etc., and from £16 per thousand words for typing from part-printed/part-handwritten text. Additional items to reproduce such as tables, graphic insertion, etc. are charged in addition at the prevailing standard hourly rate. Free quotes available.
audio typing / digital audio transcription
FROM £1.50 per recorded audio minute for reports, letters, general correspondence, etc. (single-voice recordings)
FROM £1.95 per recorded audio minute for 24-hr turnaround (single-voice recordings)
FROM £2 per recorded audio minute for 1-1 interview-style recordings and manuscript dictation.
Audio typing costs very much depend on the clarity of the recording, number of voices etc., and can vary where the subject matter is of a more complex or technical nature, or where the dialogue is particularly fast-paced. Please ask for a free quote.
24-hour turnaround for typing services
By prior arrangement, and during normal business hours only, 24-hour turnaround on most standard typing services is available at an additional 30% on agreed rates.
Remember, outsourcing means you only ever pay for the typing services you use!
