Audio transcription is the process of listening and typing using a headset and foot pedal to transcribe digital audio files.

I offer audio typing, or digital audio transcription services, to businesses and individuals who have a variety of audio transcription requirements, either on a regular basis or one-off audio typing projects. See audio typing services and fees.

I specialise in transcribing digital voice files where the recording has been made by a single voice or two voices.

These recordings may include lengthy documents, such as reports, findings, notes, correspondence, business letters, written works and materials, proposals, interviews, etc.

In order to personalise your documents, I can use your letterhead or standard business template.

audio typing - how does it work?

I can accept digital files only for audio transcription typing and use digital transcription software which can handle a range of digital voice files, e.g. .dss, .ds2, .mp3, .wma, .wav, .m4a, etc.

Files in a suitable format can be e-mailed, uploaded or posted. To help estimate the suitability, clarity, likely costs and audio typing timescales, I would be happy to preview your recording beforehand.
